Parents Without Partners is an international, non-profit organization, devoted to the welfare and interest of ALL LONE PARENTS and THEIR CHILDREN.

Parents Without Partners provides single parents and their children with an opportunity for enhancing personal growth, self-confidence and sensitivity towards others by offering an environment for support, friendship and the exchange of parenting techniques.

PWP is the premier not-for-profit organization focusing on social, educational and support needs of single parents in Australia.

As a member of PWP, you will share in the opportunity to interact with a network of single parents, facing together the unique challenges and triumphs of parenting today. Whether divorced, separated, widowed, or never married, PWP provides a myriad of social and educational activities for parents and children from all walks of life.

In today's society
There are men and women raising children on their own.
Many people face the future without dependant children, or a partner.
Adjusting to either of these situations is often traumatic and difficult.

Therefore Social activities are aimed at building self-esteem of both adults and children, while allowing a new network of friends to be made. Support is offered to those raising their children alone, either as custodial or access parent. Support is offered to men and women who now face being alone. Many and varied functions and activities are offered.

Parents Without Partners NSW is a friendly, sociable group. The largest singles and single parent association in Australia owned and operated by volunteer members. Membership is open to singles and single parents in New South Wales. Members may be divorced, separated, widowed or never married. We offer a full program of activities for adults and for the family. There is something to do every night of the week and several choices on week-ends. Over 1,500 activities a year.

Our functions are inexpensive. Even those on a tight budget can afford to attend a few functions every month. Children's activities are usually subsidised

Parentlink is a social network which provides single parent families with an opportunity to participate in a variety of family friendly activities. Including:
· Weekend events - Family dinners, beach days, picnics, Christmas Parties, Family Fun Days & more.
· Family Camps - Fully catered with YMCA leaders providing a fun, creative program of activities. Plus annual snow trips.
· Homeshare Registry - To share with another like-minded single parent for mutual support, reduced expenses and playmate for your child.
· Resources - Links to a comprehensive list of resources to support single parent families.
· Parentlink News - Quarterly newsletter packed with information and resources relevant to the important role of single parenting. Also includes personal articles, calendar of events and homeshare list.
· Local Networks - Meet other members from your local area for informal get togethers.
